What does this Kansas City Whiskey taste like?
The whiskey offers rich layers of raisin, plum, spice, and integrated vermouth character.
Thanks to extended oxidation and cask integration, the whiskey delivers a smooth, complex experience—starting with a bold aroma and finishing with lingering warmth and sweetness. It’s one of the most refined cask finishes in J. Rieger & Co.'s portfolio to date.
Aroma: Intense with notes of raisin, plum, and herbal spice
Palate: Rich, deeply integrated vermouth and whiskey character
Finish: Long, oxidized, complex, slightly amaro-like
This release features Kansas City Whiskey finished in Tuve Vermouth Gran Riserva casks for over 3.5 years.
The barrel was sourced from Tuve, the oldest vermouth producer in Torino, Italy—the birthplace of vermouth. These French Oak casks once held Tuve’s rarest sweet vermouth, infused with botanicals intense enough to border on Amaro. This is the longest cask finish J. Rieger & Co. has ever done.
You must be a Private Stock Society member to access this release.
This bottle isn't going to retail. Membership in J. Rieger & Co.'s Private Stock Society is the only way to purchase it, giving you priority access to new single barrel selections and cask-finished releases before anyone else.
