What is Whiskey Social?

Whiskey Social is a free whiskey tracking and discovery app built for people who take their pour seriously. You can catalog your collection, log tasting notes, discover new bottles, find venues, and connect with a whiskey community - all in one place.

The app was built by Adam and Jerry, two guys from Nashville, Tennessee who spent years running bars and restaurants and got deep into craft whiskey along the way. As their personal collections grew, they kept running into the same problem: there was no good way to track what they'd tried, share it with people who cared, or discover what to drink next. So they built it.

Whiskey Social isn't trying to be a rating aggregator or a retailer. It's a community app, one built around the idea that whiskey is better when it's shared.

Adam is a self-proclaimed Whiskey Nerd whose love of craft beverages started with craft beer back in the early 2000s. Brewing his first batch of beer, probably not so legally, in his college dorm room, he found a passion for crafting new and exciting flavors in alcoholic beverages. As he worked his way through breweries and then to craft restaurants and bars, he saw the next level of his passion for craft whiskey! Now, he's all about the experience of freshly cracking a new bottle of whiskey and sharing his love with others! If Adam's around, you're not far from a good pour in your glass and a friendly conversation to go with it! Adam handles the product side of Whiskey Social - if a feature exists in the app, he's the reason it works the way it does.

For the past twenty-seven years, Jerry has been an entrepreneur, with most of his focus on owning and operating restaurants. Growing up in Louisiana, and being a part of that culture, he has always had a passion for bringing people together. Jerry has dedicated his career to creating extraordinary experiences that unite people through their shared appreciation of great food and spirits. That's what Whiskey Social is: a place where the experience of drinking good whiskey meets the people who make it worth having.
