Why is this bottle special?

This bottle honors the 10/10 legacy that defines Angel’s Envy.

Back in 2010, the brand’s founder, Lincoln Henderson, made the bold decision to delay Angel’s Envy’s debut. Although the whiskey was originally slated to launch on October 10th, 2010 (10/10/10), Henderson didn’t feel the liquid was ready. Instead of rushing to market, he chose to wait—and that decision became a hallmark of the brand’s philosophy: Release only what is truly “Worth the Envy.”

Today, the “10/10” emblem lives on—etched into every cork and honored at the distillery’s Bar Ten/10. This special release reflects that legacy in both age and intent.

What are the tasting notes for Angel’s Envy 10 Cask Strength?

According to the distillery, this cask-strength expression is “a decade worth savoring.”

Here’s how the flavor unfolds:

  • Nose: Sweet cinnamon toast and creamy fruit nougat layered over a backbone of candied nuts

  • Palate: Rich flavors of baklava give way to ripe apricot, crème brûlée, and cognac, accented by subtle spice from grains of paradise

  • Finish: A warm, lingering finish led by the port cask’s influence—think rum raisin cake with elegant depth

How does the “10/10 Story” tie into this release?

More than a release date, 10/10 has become part of Angel’s Envy’s DNA. It represents the brand’s deep respect for the craft and the courage to wait for perfection.

This 10-year release isn’t just aged—it’s earned. Each bottle stands as a tribute to Henderson’s original decision to delay the debut until the whiskey was truly ready. Now, over a decade later, Angel’s Envy 10 Cask Strength brings that story full circle.
